Patna: The Bihar Police is claiming that the situation in Nalanda and Sasaram of the state is normal and peaceful. Internet and school-colleges have been closed in the affected districts and police force has been deployed in large numbers. On Sunday, April 2, DGP RS Bhatti also reached Nalanda and inspected the situation. Meanwhile, on Monday (April 3) morning, the news of bombardment in Sasaram came to the fore. However, the Bihar Police has described it as a 'firecracker sound'. Since this incident, the Bihar Police's claims of the situation being 'normal and peaceful' are being questioned.

According to media reports, the alleged bombing took place at Chhedilal Gali in Mochi Tola, Sasaram. A crude bomb was hurled at the top of a house here. The identity of the bomber has not been identified yet. The police team has reached the scene and started an investigation. A black mark has been formed in this white house after the blast. Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel are also deployed on the spot. Let us tell you that Mochi Tola in Sasaram is considered a communally sensitive area.

However, the local police station in-charge, Santosh Kumar, while not calling it a bomb blast, described it as sounding like firecrackers'. He told the media that, 'We were told by the people that there was a sound of something. On reaching the spot, it was found that there was some sound, like a firecracker. Apart from this, there is nothing special. At the same time, the Bihar Police has tweeted that at around 5 a.m. in the morning, an unknown person burst firecrackers on the outer wall of Mannauvar Raine's house in Mochi Tola, 3 km from Sasaram Nagar police station. Due to this, the rumour of a bomb blast spread among the people present there.

Bihar Police says, 'After getting the information, DM, SP, and other officials reached the spot and investigated the matter. Static force and officials are deployed at the Basti turn, adjacent to the spot. The law and order situation is normal. Action is being taken to identify the mischievous elements who burst crackers. There is a black mark from firecrackers on the outer wall of the house. Twine, etc. have been recovered from the spot, which has to be investigated.

Let us inform you that, earlier on Saturday (April 1), there was news of a blast from Sasaram. The police told that the blast took place while making a bomb in the compound of a house. Six people were injured in this incident. The police had talked about arresting two people. In the midst of all this, news has also come to light that some Hindu families have fled from Sasaram due to panic. The relatives say that the police did not provide adequate security, due to which they had no other option but to leave the house.
