Meerut: A person from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh has started on a different kind of hiking on the lines of Kanwar. This young man will complete the journey of about 584 km from Meerut to Lucknow barefoot. Fed up with unemployment, this young man has adopted this path to convey his talk to UP CM Yogi Adityanath. He says that he will go to Lucknow and request CM Yogi to get a job.

Manoj Kumar is the name of this youth resident of the Mohkampur area of Meerut. It has given banners and posters a cone-like appearance. There are pictures of PM Modi on one side and CM Yogi on the other. It is also written that the foot marches from Meerut to Lucknow to solve the problem. First Manoj was to go on hiking from the day of 1 February 2021, but he could not do so. Now he has left for Meerut to Lucknow on the night of 2 April.

The banners and posters that Manoj has taken together, have also been printed on the date of commencement of the march on February 1, 2021, at 10 am. Which he has also tried to erase. When Manoj was talked to, his pain came out. He told that "I ride a rickshaw and have a wife and three children in the house. Even after the hard work, I am unable to survive and could not meet the requirements. That's why I want a job".
