Jaipur: A major accident occurred during the Shiv Baraat being taken out on the occasion of Maha Shivratri in Kota city of Rajasthan. Meanwhile, about 14 children got burnt due to electric shock. The incident, which took place near Kunhadi Thermal intersection at around 12:30 pm, created an atmosphere of panic. The people present at the spot immediately took the injured children and got them admitted to MBBS Hospital, where doctors are treating them.

It is being told that on the occasion of Mahashivratri, during the yatra being taken out in Kali Basti of Sakatpur in Kota, children were carrying a long pipe with a flag attached to it, when suddenly the pipe touched the high tension line and the current also failed. .

The team of doctors is continuously engaged in his treatment. On the other hand, as soon as information about the accident was received, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar also reached the hospital and expressed grief over the incident and instructed the officials for better treatment. The Energy Minister has also given instructions to investigate the entire matter. After the incident, officials of the Electricity Department also reached the spot and inspected the spot.
