Producer-director Vipul Amritlal Shah, who has been in the first line of successful directors of Hindi cinema by giving hits like 'Aankhen', 'Waqt' and 'Namaste London', is once again poised to take command of cinema from behind the camera. Akshay Kumar, who is the hero of the film, is expected to be shot by the end of this year.
What's more, Vipul's first three films as directors were made with Akshay Kumar, and the first two films included Amitabh Bachchan with Akshay Kumar. After making London Dreams with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, his career faltered, and his previous two films, 'Action Replay' and 'Namaste England', didn't do much at the box office.
Director Vipul admits that his previous films could not succeed because of his looseness in the pulse of the Hindi cinema audience. Now he is going among the people and moving to different parts of the country. In recent times, the change in audience preference has also been steam. In a recent interview, he spoke of people's changing lifestyles. Next, he says, his next film will be with Akshay Kumar.
