Basti: The state government has announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on Vikas Dubey, the main accused of killing eight policemen in the Kanpur encounter. In this case, IG Range Kanpur sent a file in this regard to the state's DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi. Let me tell you that accused Vikas Dubey is still absconding. Police say that since the incident, Vikas is not even using his mobile. Even before that he used to use normal mobile instead of the smartphone so that it could not be traced. And it becomes difficult to trace.

On the same Sunday, during the checking in Naimish of Misrikh area on Sunday, the police recovered 9 cartridges and 150 cartridges from two luxury vehicles. Actually, there are 6 rifles, a gun and two pistols. 13 people have been detained from both the vehicles. According to information received from sources, among them is Anupam Dubey and his friend, a relative of Vikas Dubey. There are 30 serious cases registered against him in several police stations including Farrukhabad district. There are cases of murder even in them. And it is constantly being investigated by the police.

Police are still avoiding speaking openly about being a relative of development. However, it has been learned from the information received from some sources of police, that there may be a distant relative. All 13 people have been booked under the Corona Epidemic Act. SP RP Singh said that all are being questioned. And every possible effort is being made to find Vikas Dubey.
