Alirajpur: In a total of 12 wards of the district's Badi Khattali Janpad Panchayat Jobat, 56 candidates are trying to decide their fate. The highest number of candidates is in the fray in ward number 7. While the least number of candidates is in ward number 9 which is a general category seat. Only 2 candidates are deciding their fate in this seat.

In this ward, there is a big competition between Mrs. Vinita Mehta and Mrs. Kunwar Bai Kanesh of village Chamar Vegda. While four to five candidates are in the fray in other wards, four candidates are trying to decide their fate for the post of Sarpanch in the Gram Panchayat Badi Khatali of Jobat block, Bharat Singh Dudve, Bhavsinh Dudwe, Chen Singh Dawar and Smt. Sumitra Dudve, for the post of Sarpanch, Maidan. 

There is a lot of competition in the Sarpanch, there are total 20 wards in Gram Panchayat Khatali, out of which 8 wards are reserved for general category, 1 ward is reserved for SC category, while 11 wards are reserved for ST category. Out of total 20 wards in Gram Panchayat Badi Khatali, 14 wards have been declared elected unopposed. In which Ramesh Mehta, Madan Laddha, Vijay Malvi have been declared elected unopposed from the general category. While elections are being held in 6 wards, 2-2 candidates are facing each other in 6 wards. While district president Shakuntala Dudve is trying her luck from ward number 10, there are a total of 6 candidates in this ward.
