Moscow: On Friday, a Russian man, who had spent 10 years in a psychiatric facility for killing his classmate and drinking his blood, was arrested for using fake documents to work as a doctor at a hospital in the Urals city of Chelyabinsk. The 36-year-old man, identified as Boris Kondrashin was charged with faking documents to get a job at the hospital in November last year, PTI reported quoting local news report.

Investigators said Kondrashin was working as a doctor despite facing a compulsory medical treatment in 2000 “after committing an especially serious crime”. In 1998, Kondrashin, who was a teenager then, sedated his 16-year-old school classmate, cut up his body and drank his blood, PTI quoted Russian media. According to a source report “considered himself to be a vampire”. While In 2000, he was confined to a psychiatric hospital after being diagnosed with homicidal schizophrenia for a decade as per local media. He was reportedly working as a primary care doctor at Chelyabinsk’s City Hospital No. 11 where he used to encourage people to quit smoking and drinking.
