IndiGo issued a statement stating that both the mother and the child are healthy and the flight landed at Bengaluru Airport at 7:40 pm. "We confirm that a premature child was born on Flight 6E 122 from Delhi to Bangalore," the statement said. Flight operations were normal during the delivery process. When the plane reached Bangalore, the child was given a warm welcome at the airport. According to the statement, both mother and child are healthy.
