Noida: In a recent incident, a shocking case surfaced form Noida when a woman came forward and accused a man of raping and blackmailing her. The accused is allegedly a YouTuber. The accused was allegedly blackmailing the victim and was asking her to pay Rs 2 lakh. The accused was blackmailing the victim by using a video of her. The accused has around 2 lakh subscribers on YouTube. The complaint was filed the family of the victim. The victims family also alleged that the accused had filmed an inappropriate video of the victim and was using the same to blackmail her.

The accused allegedly got to know about the victim after she constantly commented on his videos. The family of the victim alleged that the accused had promised to give her work.  While talking to the Indian Express, SHO, Phase 3, Akhilesh Tripathi stated that the police are yet to ascertain the actual area of the crime. The accused was booked under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape. Further investigation is underway.

However, it is to be noted that this incident came to light a day after an aspiring model was raped and assaulted by her boyfriend. The accused had allegedly promised to give the victim roles in films. The victim was struggling when she met the accused. It was then that the accused allegedly promised to give her roles in movies and films. The accused allegedly took the victim to a beach and spiked her drink. The accused allegedly raped the victim after she lost consciousness. When the victim woke up, she realised that she had been raped.
