The  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the upcoming presidential elections yesterday had extended their support for the Opposition presidential candidate Meira Kumar.

AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh in a press briefing said " Meira Kumar called Arvind Kejriwal and asked him to support her. In the wake of the current prevailing situation in the country, the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) have decided to support her," 

For the upcoming Presidential polls, Meira Kumar has been campaigning. The elections for the President of India is scheduled to take place On July 17.
