New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced amendments to the party's constitution in a meeting of the National Executive. Manish Sisodia said that in the meeting of the National Executive, some improvements have been made in the party's constitution. He said, 'Based on the experience of the last 9 years, it has come to notice that some of our constitution rules were creating practical problems for the party to move forward. Especially in states where the party is moving slowly '

Regarding the amendment of the party's constitution, Manish Sisodia said, "there were clauses in the constitution of the party which were causing problems. Minor changes have been made in the constitution to make it more practical". Changes in the constitution of the AAP have been made in this way. It was mentioned in the party's constitution that the primary unit of the party would be at the booth level. It has now been determined that the primary unit of the party will be considered as the district level unit.

MPs and MLAs who will win elections in many different states will be members of the party's National Council. The states of which they are MP-MLAs will also become members of the state council. "An amendment has been made in this constitution so that the elected people of the party can play an important role in advancing the party."
