The perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan is all set for his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha.  Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of Forest Grump. The movie is one of the most successful movies of the year and it has also done great business. In a recent interview, Aamir Khan has spilled the beans on Laal Singh Chaddha, being a remake of Forest Grump, and the difficulty he faced.

Aamir recalled the incident of narrating the script and is it difficult for him to remake this mega film. The actor said,  "Yes. I was a little worried because he ( Atul Kulkarni) had written his first script. He hadn’t written a script before. He asked me to listen to it very enthusiastically. I felt if I listen and don’t like, he would feel bad. Also, a film like Forrest Gump, which is such a cult classic, is very difficult to imagine adapting into another film. That’s why I didn’t listen to his script for two years."

Speaking about how difficult for him to even think about the remaking of Forest Grump, he added, "I was like, 'How dare you make me read Forrest Gump?' You can’t even think of making Forrest Gump again. It’s like making Mughal-a-Azam and Mother India again. I felt why should I waste my time listening to something I don’t want to make? But when I heard it, I was blown. I felt, yes, he has done it. It was a very moving experience for me. The moment I heard it, I said I want to do this."

Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan. Produced under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures, the film is an official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks-starrer Forrest Gump. Mona Singh plays Aamir Khan's mother in the film. Before the release of the movie Boycott, Laal Singh Chaddha is trending because of Aamir‘s old controversial statement on India.
