New Delhi: In a follow-up to their initial candidate unveiling, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled their second list of contenders for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. With just two days since the release of their first list, AAP is wasting no time in putting forth its assembly prospects in the state.

The newly released roster includes 21 candidates, with notable contenders like Manish Sharma vying for the Bikaner West seat, Jhabar Singh Khichhar running in Sikar, Vishvender Singh representing Ramgarh, Mukesh Bhupremi in the Sawai Madhopur constituency, and Rohit Joshi competing in Jodhpur.

Other AAP candidates to watch include Puran Mal Khatik in Shahpura, Rameshwar Prasad Jand in Bassi (ST), and Archit Gupta in Civil Lines.

Meanwhile, in a simultaneous political move, the Congress party has unveiled its third list of candidates for the Rajasthan assembly elections scheduled for November 25. This announcement brings the total number of nominees declared by the party to 95.

Among the Congress candidates, Shoba Rani Kushwah will run in Dholpur, Rajendra Prateek in Sikar, Wajib Ali in Nagar, Harish Chandra Meena in Deoli-Uniara, Heera Lal Darangi in Jhalod (ST), and Lakhan Singh Meena in Karauli, as per the third list issued by the party.

Adding to the electoral fervor, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also disclosed its second list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. Notably, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will seek re-election from the Jhalrapatan constituency.

The BJP's second list comprises 83 candidates, with some prominent figures, including former Rajasthan BJP president Satish Punia, who is set to contest from the Amber constituency.

The BJP is eyeing a change of leadership, aiming to displace the Congress party from power in Rajasthan. In the 2018 elections, Congress secured 99 seats in the 200-member state assembly, while BJP won 73 seats. The eagerly anticipated outcome of these elections will be unveiled on December 3, coinciding with polls in four other states set to occur next month.
