New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Tahir Hussain has filed a petition in Delhi's Karkardooma Court for anticipatory bail after being named in the Delhi violence. The Karkardooma Court will hear Tahir Hussain's bail plea today i.e. on Wednesday morning. The hearing of the Tahir Hussain case will be held in the court of Judge Sudhir Kumar.

Tahir Hussain is accused of killing Intelligence Bureau (IB) employee Ankit Sharma. Cases are registered against Tahir in the violence that broke out in North-East Delhi. It is alleged that Ankit Sharma was killed by taking him inside Tahir's house. Post mortem report of Ankit Sharma has revealed that his body was stabbed 4 hundred times with a knife. Police have registered an FIR against Tahir Hussain under sections 302 (murder), 365 (kidnapping), 201 (eviction of evidence) and 34 (common intention).

After the violence in Delhi, a large number of materials used in the violence were found from Tahir's house. Since then, the police is constantly looking for him. He is absconding from his house. Police have not yet arrested Tahir Hussain, a suspended AAP councilor facing charges of murder, arson, and violence.
