Ahmedabad: Even though the dates for the assembly elections in Gujarat have not been announced yet, the election campaign of all the political parties are going on at its peak. Big leaders of BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are constantly holding rallies and meetings in Gujarat, Congress is also continuing its campaign, although its big leaders are rarely reaching Gujarat.

Meanwhile, senior party leader Jairam Ramesh said on Wednesday (November 2) that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is not a separate party, but it is an ally of the BJP. Jairam Ramesh made a big claim that AAP was born out of India Against Corruption in 2012, which is a front organization of Rashtriya Swayamsevak (RSS). The Congress leader said that the issues and language of the BJP and AAP are almost the same. If both of them ever speak against each other, it is a political attack just for show.

Jairam Ramesh said that 'Aam Aadmi Party is giving advertisements fiercely in the media, AAP's advertisement is full in every media institution, the ground reality is something else. The real contest in Gujarat is only between the BJP and the Congress. Aam Aadmi Party will field its candidates only to cut Congress votes and help BJP.'
