TikTok star and BJP leader Sonali Phogat passed away in Goa. It is being said that he died due to a heart attack. Goa DGP Jaspal Singh also confirmed Sonali Phogat's death. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party leader has demanded a CBI inquiry, calling Sonali Phogat's death suspicious.  

Former State President of AAP in Haryana Naveen Jaihind tweeted, "The sudden death of Sonali Phogat is sad. May God give peace to her soul. We demand from CM Manohar Lal Khattar that people are saying that this death is suspicious and mysterious. It should be investigated by the CBI or the sitting judge of the High Court. There should be a post-mortem at AIIMS as people suspect Sonali's death. In such a situation, the Chief Minister should order an inquiry.''

Sonali Phogat had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections from the Adampur assembly seat. She was defeated by Kuldeep Bishnoi of the Congress. Now Kuldeep Bishnoi has come to the Bharatiya Janata Party from the Congress and wants his son to contest from this seat. At the same time, Sonali Phogat also staked her claim in the by-election to this seat.
