New Delhi: After India, now the discussion on the 'Delhi model' has also started in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi, in her address at the UNGA, has enumerated the merits of the Kejriwal governance model in Delhi. Delhi CM and AAP national convener Kejriwal has congratulated Atishi on the achievement. Atishi, AAP MLA from Kalkaji seat, is a graduate of Oxford University.

After Atishi addressed the UNGA, CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday praised her, saying the world is today looking to Delhi for solutions in many areas of urban governance. Re-tweeting a post by Atishi in a speech at the UNGA, Kejriwal said, "A proud moment for India. Delhi and AAP have made Indians proud. The world is now looking to Delhi for solutions in many areas of urban governance. We will all learn from each other to make the world a better place.''
Kejriwal congratulated Atishi for this achievement and said, "Very good Atishi. It's a very proud moment. Many congratulations for making the world aware of the potential of the country, including the sentiments of Delhi and the people of the country, on such a big international platform. The country wants such progressive thinking. India now wants to move forward.''
