Chandigarh: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Friday took a jibe at the opposition party using the slogan "I will fight, I can fight" after Kumari Selja was sacked from the post of state Congress unit chief. Anil Vij has said that there is a big difference between the words and deeds of Congress.
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij tweeted from his official Twitter handle that the Congress, which gave the slogan of "Girl hoon, fight sakti hoon" in Uttar Pradesh, could not tolerate Kumari Selja in Haryana and treated her with rudeness. He was removed from his post. This is the real face of the Congress which shows the respect of women in the Congress. There is a huge difference between the words and deeds of the Congress."
Let us inform that the Congress on Wednesday, while reforming the state unit, appointed former MLA and Bhupinder Singh Hooda loyalist Uday Bhan as its president in place of Selja. The party has also made four working presidents Shruti Chaudhary, Ram Kishan Gurjar, Jitendra Kumar Bhardwaj and Suresh Gupta in its Haryana unit. Let us inform that former Union Minister Selja was appointed as the Haryana Congress President a few weeks before the state assembly elections in 2019.
