New Delhi: The MLAs of Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, who are badly engulfed in the liquor scam, are going to meet President Draupadi Murmu on 7 September. During this, AAP will complain to the President about the alleged 'Operation Lotus' of the BJP. AAP MLAs will demand Her Excellency to get this probed. Let us inform you that AAP had alleged that Operation Lotus was launched to topple their government in Delhi, in which Rs 20 crore each was offered to the MLAs.
AAP MLA Atishi has told that President Draupadi Murmu has given an appointment on 7 September. A delegation of MLAs will visit her. We will demand her to conduct a probe into Operation Lotus. AAP has accused the BJP of being destabilized in other states where there is no BJP government through Operation Lotus. Governments are being brought down by buying MLAs. This has happened in many states including Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka. This is what the BJP tried to do in Delhi, but could not succeed here. AAP also alleges that a total of 277 MLAs were purchased in the country under Operation Lotus, for which BJP spent Rs 6300 crores.
