NEW DELHI: Just fews days are left to the election , Rahul Gandhi led  Congress  party today formally launched its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections with a song and a slogan -- ''Ab Hoga Nyay'' - a spin not only on its promise of a flagship Basic Minimum Income Scheme NYAY, but also an assertion that the country is being subjected to "anyaya" or injustice under the PM Modi led NDA government.

Congress, with a tweet on Sunday, declared its campaign tagline - Ab Hoga NYAY. Congress, in its campaign tagline, made it clear that the party is serious about the minimum income guarantee scheme -- the NYAY scheme -- launched by party president Rahul Gandhi on March 25.

 Poverty will be struck, we will fulfill the dream. In Congress rule, the poor will be empowered. #AbHogaNYAY," Congress posted.The name of the proposed scheme is 'Nyuntam Aay Yojana,' or NYAY. The word 'Nyay' stands for justice in Hindi.

Last week, the grand old party had unveiled its manifesto that focused on bread and butter issues that concerned the people - jobs, minimum income, education and health. There were significant promises for the farm sector too, the key one being that defaulting on farm loans would no longer be a criminal offence.

Under Nyay, Congress had promised Rs. 72,000 to the poorest of the poor families.
