Now, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has strongly criticised Zaira's move and tweeted, "Halala is justified and acting is termed Haram, whether it will do such a thing as a Muslim to India?"

"I have completed 5 years today and I want to admit that I am not really pleased with this identity, i.e. my work."
