Banihal : According to the Police, “Jammu Kashmir’s Ramban district, a man was killed and his wife hurt when the vehicle they were travelling in slipped off the road and fell into a deep gorge”

M Amin Malik, the Station  House Officer(SHO) said that, “The couple, hailing from Kathua district, were posted at high school in Ramsoo. They were on their way to Ramsoo from Kathua when the man lost control of the vehicle and it fell into a gorge at Magarkote area in the district late last night”

He further added, “Although Rajinder Kumar died on the spot, his wife, Suman Kumari, was injured in the accident”

The lady named Suman was shifted to government hospital and  Ramsoo where she is undergoing treatment, he said.

The case is registered for investigation.
