According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, 55,079 new cases have been reported in the country in one day, and the total number of infected has reached 27 lakh two thousand 742. During this period, 57,937 patients have been cured and together, the figure of corona patients who have been healthy so far has reached 19 lakh 77 thousand 779. The active cases are six lakh 73 thousand 166, which is 24.91 percent of the total cases. Another 876 people have died due to this epidemic, taking the total death toll to 51,797. The ministry said that a record eight lakh 99 thousand 864 samples were tested on Monday. So far 3 crores 9 lakh 41 thousand 264 samples have been tested.

According to the data received from PTI and other sources from the state and Union Territory till 9 pm, 55,551 new cases have been received since late Monday, and 51,444 patients have been cured. Together, the total number of infected people has gone up to 27 lakh 50 thousand 781 and so far, 20 lakh 20 thousand 82 patients have become completely healthy. The active cases are six lakh 77 thousand 910. So far 52,789 people have lost their lives in this epidemic. There were 949 deaths on Tuesday, including a record 422 in Maharashtra, 121 in Tamil Nadu, 20 in Gujarat and five in Goa.
