Mumbai: Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has been making her stand these days. She has recently demanded strict action against a YouTube channel and an app. In fact, the Shiv Sena MP has said that this YouTube channel has telecast a live auction of a woman from a particular community. Not only that but MP Priyanka Chaturvedi says photos of several women have been posted on the app. These photos have been taken from women's social media handles.

In fact, the Shiv Sena MP has also written to Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to look into these incidents showing live auctions of women on YouTube. In this letter, she has asked for action against the concerned YouTube channel and app. In fact, MP Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote in the letter, "A few months ago, a YouTube channel called 'Liberal Dodge' showcased the live auction of a woman from a particular community. People were bidding at the woman, making lewd remarks. Pictures of many such women have been posted on the app called 'Sulli Deals'.''

In a letter to Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Priyanka has written, "The women whose pictures are being uploaded in this way are not even aware of it. The women whose photos have been uploaded in the Sulli Deals app belong to different professions. One of these professions is journalism. Women face a lot of threats and embarrassment after their pictures appeared on social media without their knowledge.''

The app aims to humiliate women from a particular community. Priyanka Chaturvedi also wrote, "Some women have closed their social media accounts out of fear. Some women are scared and tolerant of future humiliations.'' In view of all this, Priyanka Chaturvedi has demanded immediate and strict action from Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.
