Nitin Kapoor- a film producer, husband of actress-politician Jayasudha and cousin of ace actor Jeetendra has committed suicide. 

He jumped from the terrace of a six-storey building at Seven Bunglows in Andheri West(Mumbai). 

On the sad incident, Jeetendra said, "He was my first cousin. I had not met him for a long time. I don't know why he was not meeting me. He was avoiding me. His father was really close to me. He was like a father for me. I was away for a meeting. It was when my flight landed at around 8.40 pm that I came to know about this. I am in Delhi and am depressed to learn about this." 

ACP, DN Nagar division Arun Chavan told, "No suicide note was found. The body has been sent for a post-mortem. A panchnama has been done at the spot. We are investigating why he took the extreme step. There is no foul play. We will investigate to find out if anyone abetted him. The family has not spoken to us yet."
