Actor Namish was approached for this show. But the actor has rejected the show Bigg Boss for another serial. For the daily soap 'Aye Mere Humsafar', Namish refused to be a part of Bigg Boss. Instead of doing a controversial show of Salman Khan, actor Namish thought it right to be part of the daily soap. In an interview, Namish has told that he received the offer of Bigg Boss 14.

Namish said that "He was having an initial discussion with the Big Boss makers before signing the new serial 'Ae Mere Humsafar'. Namish arrived as a guest at the New Year party in Bigg Boss 13. During this time, he was seen supporting Siddharth Shukla. Actor Namish has said that he would definitely like to do Bigg Boss in the future". The makers are looking to make Bigg Boss 14 a big bang and entertainer like last year. This is the reason that till now the makers has talked to Zayn Imam, Nishant Malkani, Naina Singh, Pavithra Punia, Vivian Dsena, Jennifer Winget, Nia Sharma, Jasmine Bhasin and Neha Sharma, many of whom have worked in the show. All of them turned down the offer, the makers are putting a lot of efforts to make this show bang.
