Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi has been arrested by Rajasthan Police. She is always in the headlines through her controversial tweets. It is being told that the police of the Bundi district of Rajasthan arrested the ex-contestant of Bigg Boss. She herself has given this information on Twitter. She has confirmed the matter of arrest by tweeting.

Payal wrote in her tweet, 'I am arrested by @PoliceRajasthan for making a video on #MotilalNehru which I made from taking information from @google Freedom of Speech is a joke @PMOIndia @HMOIndia'. Payal has also tagged the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Home Affairs in this tweet. More information about the arrest is yet to be revealed. According to sources, earlier on December 5, Rajasthan Police issued a notice to Payal for making controversial comments on former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. It is being told that she had shared the objectionable video on Facebook on September 1, which made her in the headlines.

Rajasthan Youth Congress General Secretary Charmesh Sharma filed a complaint against Payal. After this, the police went to her house in Gujarat and in this case, a notice was also given at her house. This case was lodged in Bundi Sadar Police Station in Bundi district of Rajasthan. Earlier too, Payal has given controversial statements about Hindu-Muslim and has also tweeted many. She has also named her Twitter handle as 'Payal Rohatgi and Team- Bhagwan Ram Bhakts'.
