The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has arrested Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra. In fact, Raj was arrested last Monday night. Under the information received, he has been arrested for allegedly releasing pornographic films and those films on the app. He is said to have been made the main accused by the police in the case. In fact, in February this year, a case was filed for making films and releasing them through the app. Raj Kundra has now been arrested as the main accused in the same case. In this regard, Mumbai Police says that they have enough evidence against Raj Kundra and he is being arrested and questioned.

According to police, Raj Kundra will be produced before the court on Tuesday after a medical examination. On the other hand, the Mumbai Police Commissioner said, "The Crime Branch had registered a case in February 2021 for making obscene films and releasing them on different OTT platforms. Since then, police have raided several different locations.'' He further said that 4 persons have also been arrested before Raj Kundra in the case. Raj Kundra has been arrested based on the statement suo-vis the accused's statements and technical evidence.

Police said, their investigation revealed that Raj Kundra is the main accused and the main conspirator in the case. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, an app was created and films were released on it. The name of the app was Hotshot and films were released on it. In the end, money was taken from the people. Police say the app is owned by Raj Kundra, but Raj Kundra claimed that he had nothing to do with the app. Police say innocent and needy girls who came to Mumbai's film industry in search of work were implicated for the job. Girls were forced to work in films on the pretext of getting them to work in big films. After making that film, the accused used to earn lakhs of rupees by releasing them on mobile apps and OTT platforms.
