Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar laid the foundation stone of the first indigenously built Drishti 10 Starliner Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) i.e. drone in Hyderabad today i.e. on 10 January 2024. This unmanned aerial vehicle i.e. drone has been manufactured by Adani Defense and Aerospace. Adani built a modern drone for the Indian Navy: The flag-off ceremony of this Drishti 10 Starliner unmanned aerial vehicle built by Adani for the security of India was led by chief guest Admiral R Hari Kumar. Meanwhile, 75 Navy soldiers were also present with him. Referring to its roadmap as per the needs of the Indian Navy, he has also praised Adani Group for making self-reliance successful and capable for defense and security.
He has said about this, "ISR technology is also being said to be a big step to become self-reliant in the naval force. With the arrival of Drishti 10, the powers of our Navy are going to increase. This is a dream come true for us. It is as if this UAV has been manufactured with the help of more than 60 percent of the products available in India itself." It was said about this new UAV that it is going to be included in the maritime operations of the Navy, and for this, this UAV is going to fly from Hyderabad to Porbandar.
