NEW DELHI: Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group has said the group's market capitalization/Market valuation (M-Cap) now stands at 260 billion dollars, which is having propelled faster than any company ever in India.

Adani said that the ACC-Ambuja Cements acquisition, which was completed on September 17, was India's largest inbound  Merger and acquisition (M&A) transaction in the infrastructure and materials sector and that it had taken a record four months to complete.

"The Adani Group, in my opinion, is unmatched in its ability to increase operational efficiency, and we will gain from the lessons we've learned from the many acquisitions we've done in recent years. As a result, we expect significant margin expansion to become the most profitable cement manufacturer in the country. And within the next five years, we expect to increase capacity from the present 70 million tonnes to 140 million tonnes"Adani added.

Gautam Adani commented on the size of the Adani Group: "We are currently the biggest solar energy firm in the world, and we are driving India's greening. We are also at the forefront of the green hydrogen industry globally, having invested 70 billion dollars in this industry. With 25% of the nation's passenger flow and 40% of the air freight, we are the leading airport operator." " With a 30% national market share, we are India's largest port and logistics provider. We are India's largest integrated energy player spanning generation, transmission, distribution, LNG, LPG, city gas and piped gas distribution. These companies are all expanding at double-digit rates. We are on our way to dominating this market after winning some of the biggest road contracts in the nation. Adani Wilmar had a spectacular initial public offering (IPO), making us the highest valued FMCG firm in the nation"Adani. said.
