Islamabad: Journalist Nasrullah Gadani, who raised his voice in favour of flood-affected Hindus in Pakistan, has been arrested by Sindh police. Gadani had visited relief camps set up for flood victims a few days ago. During this time, he highlighted the discrimination being done against minorities (Hindus) in relief camps. He had said that only Muslims were being accommodated in the camps. Even Hindus are not being given relief material.

Let us know that about 1300 people have lost their lives due to floods in Pakistan so far. More than 6,000 people were injured. According to an estimate, about 3.5 crore people have been rendered homeless by this severe flood. Sindh province is the worst affected. Gadani had visited a relief camp in Mirpur Mathelo town of Sindh last week. In a video, he told how people of the Hindu community are being discriminated against in those relief camps. The video showed the suffering of Hindus driven out of relief camps. The video went viral on social media. The government later deleted the video.

Following the video, the local police sent a notice to Gadani to appear before it. When he reached for questioning, he was arrested. Gadani claimed that Hindus do not even have water and food grains to drink. They are at risk of starving.

The temple is sheltering many families in the flood:-

It is also worth noting here that Muslims are being given shelter in Hindu temples, but Hindus are being driven out of relief camps. A Hindu temple in Balochistan's Kutchi district has emerged as a ray of hope in this severe flood fury. About 300 people, mostly from the Muslim community, have found shelter in this Baba Madhodas temple. In fact, Jalal Khan village of the Kutchi district of Balochistan has been badly affected by the floods. The floods have destroyed the homes of the people here. In such a situation, many Muslim families of the village have taken shelter in the temple of this village. Here, coolers, and beds for these families have been managed by the temple. Temple manager Ratan Kumar has said about this temple, 'There are more than a hundred rooms in the temple. Every year a large number of devotees from Balochistan and Sindh come here. This temple has also been damaged by the floods. However, the basic structure of this temple is safe. So, help is being given to the flood victims. From the stay of these families to the food and drink of these families, it is the Hindus who are making arrangements. But they are getting the reward for this brotherhood of Hindus that they are being thrown out of relief camps by Muslims and even, and they are not being given rations.'
