She will work closely with Adidas to engage and inspire the youth and to take the game to the next level.

The current captain of the Indian squad and the Indian Women's League team Gokulam Kerala is an Indian football player named Loitongbam Ashalata Devi. In 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2019, Devi was a member of the squad that won the South Asian Football Federation Women's Championship four times.

Sunil Gupta, Senior Director, Adidas Brand, expressed his opinions by saying, "We are thrilled to have Ashalata as a member of the Adidas family. She is pioneering the way for women in football, and we think that her winning spirit and drive will motivate the next generation and realise Indian football's full potential, said Loitongbam Ashalata Devi: "I am ecstatic to be a part of the Adidas family. I've always wanted to be associated with a famous company like Adidas, so the fact that it has come true makes me feel quite grateful.
