Rampur: Former Uttar Pradesh minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) Lok Sabha MP Azam Khan has been shocked by the ADM court on Saturday in every university case. The court has ordered the registration of 70.05 hectares of Jauhar Trust,172 acres of land as the Uttar Pradesh government. The land was registered so far in the name of Azam Khan's Jauhar Trust.
Jauhar University had purchased more than 70 hectares of land, while the permission was to buy only 12.5 acres of land. The ADM court has ordered the Jauhar trust not to abide by the rules. Government lawyer Ajay Tiwari informed that the land will now be cut off from Azam Khan's Jauhar Trust in the records of tehsil and registered in the name of the state government.
The SP MP Azam Khan of Rampur Lok Sabha constituency had taken hundreds of Bigha land in the name of Jauhar Trust during the SP government. The matter was going on in the ADM court. Azam Khan was accused of violating several conditions of the permission. On behalf of the administration, the lands allotted to Jauhar Trust were examined from SDM Sadar. It is alleged that while giving land to Jauhar Trust during the SP regime, stamp duty was given an apology on the condition that there would be charitable work on the land.
