Agra: The return and recovery system of the crew module of India's first space manned mission Gaganyaan will use parachutes of Agra's ADRDE. These parachutes have been prepared. They are being trialled in the Malpura Para Dropping Zone. It will last two more years. Jumping from different altitudes will be practiced till 20 minutes before the mission begins. ISRO's team can also come to Agra to see this. ADRDE of Agra was given the responsibility to prepare its parachute. ADRDE has shown its expertise in Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan missions. After entering orbit from space to Earth at the return of Gaganyaan, passengers will bring a parachute of ADRDE on water or land.
Parachute will bring crew member safely: It has been learned that the crew escape system will keep astronauts safe in the event of any accident. 6 parachutes are placed in the indigenous recovery system. The last parachute crew of 31 meters diameter will bring the member safely. ADRDE Director AK Saxena and his team are very excited to be a part of this mission. An institute official said that the parachute trial was done here due to Malpura being the largest para-dropping zone in the country. This will last about two years. ISRO officials will also come to see this. Consent has been given between ISRO and DRDO for this mission.
Astronauts can also come to Agra: For the information, let us tell you that the parajumpers of Parabrigade are still doing parachute trials. The astronauts scheduled for the mission will be trained first. After this they can come to Agra, specially designed for parajumping with parachutes. However, its schedule has not been decided yet.
