Rome: An Italian startup Ahera unveiled its first four-wheeler – an electric SUV. Its name has not been made public yet.
The car's attractive design and modern four-seater cabin with a host of technology-enabled features stand out among its standout features.
With an electric drivetrain, it should be able to travel at least 800 km on a single charge.
With features never before found in an automobile, the Ehra Electric SUV is a luxurious four-wheeler. When it becomes available, the competition in the luxury EV market will increase significantly.

The vehicle will be costlier and will initially be available for purchase in the US, Europe, Gulf countries and China. India availability seems uncertain at the moment.
With a sloping roofline, a hood with vents, a modern grille, narrow headlights and bumper-mounted lamps, the Ahra electric SUV sports an aerodynamic presence.
It gets butterfly doors on the sides, chic multi-spoke wheels and cameras in place of ORVMs. The rear gets rake windscreen, bumper indentation and narrow connected taillights.

The Ahra SUV is powered by an electric drivetrain whose details and output numbers have not been released yet. However, it is estimated that the four-wheeler will have a range of at least 800 km on a single charge.
On the dashboard of the Ehra SUV, a large panel houses the infotainment system and instrument cluster. The cabin can be pulled up and converted into a home theatre, lounge or meeting room. However, this is possible only when the car is stationary.

Additional options include a floating-style center console, a center-mounted touchscreen display and a multifunctional steering wheel with an integrated digital strip.
The Aehra electric SUV is expected to cost around $160,000 (roughly Rs. 1.32 crores) in the US. Deliveries of the car will begin in 2025. When it will arrive in India is unknown.
