New Delhi: The demands of Aftab Poonawalla, the accused who murdered Shraddha Walker and cut her into 35 pieces, are not ending. After first debit/credit card and warm clothes, now he has demanded law books. At the same time, the court has accepted one of the demands of Aftab Poonawalla.

As per reports, Delhi's Saket Court has extended the custody of Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha murder case, by 14 days. Aftab has now asked for some law books to read. Meanwhile, the court has also directed the jail authorities to provide him with warm clothes. According to the information, Aftab had filed a petition in the Saket court on January 6 through his lawyer MS Khan to get back his debit and credit cards kept in the custody of Delhi Police. The court had directed the accused to appear physically on January 10.

It was argued in the petition that the accused is in judicial custody since November 9, 2022, and does not have money to buy warm clothes to wear in winter. It was also told that there are some amounts in the bank account of the accused. With his debit-credit card, the accused could buy clothes and essential items during the winter season.
