After Ahmedabad, night curfew in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot

Gandhinagar: At present, all states are seeing an increase in cases of corona infection. In such a situation, you would be aware that the curfew has been implemented in Ahmedabad from 9 am Friday to 6 am Monday. Curfew imposed in Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday. A meeting of the core committee was convened on Friday last in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani where talks have taken place.

During this period, the situation of Corona in Ahmedabad and other cities of Gujarat was reviewed. During this time, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that, 'There will be a curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 am to 6 pm on Monday, while in Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat there will be a night curfew from 9 am to 6 am from Saturday till further notice.  Along with this it was also said that 'School colleges will not be opened in the state from next Monday, before the government announced to open them. Students and students appearing for various competitive and other exams and those coming for necessary work will be able to come to curfew by putting their identity cards and call letters together.

During this, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajeev Gupta said that, 'Only the medicine and milk dairy shops will be opened during the curfew'. State transport buses will remain closed in Ahmedabad, but the railways and airlines will remain unchanged. Apart from this, passengers have to keep the ticket and identity card together. It is said that 40 buses have been arranged from Kalupur railway station to transport passengers to the city. Ahmedabad Food and Civil Supplies Commissioner has directed to keep the system of distribution of petrol, diesel, CNG stations and LPG cylinders smooth during the curfew. Apart from this, 17 examinations of GSPC held on Saturday have been postponed.
