Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has also praised a decision of Chief Justice of the country DY Chandrachud on Sunday. Actually, a person was having difficulty in writing due to illness, on this the young man has filed a petition in the Supreme Court and appealed to allow him to take a writer for the Uttarakhand Administrative Services examination. The Union Law Minister has also praised the Chief Justice for the decision given by the Supreme Court on this. 

What did the Union Law Minister say : Responding to a tweet, Kiren Rijiju wrote that 'This honorable Justice DY Chandrachud has also taken heart touching action. In the judicial service examination of Uttarakhand, a disabled candidate has been given a big relief by providing him the facility of scribe. AIIMS had given him a certificate of disability, on which it is very satisfying to get justice to the needy person on time.

What is the issue:  Reports say that Uttarakhand candidate Dhananjay Kumar has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to allow him to take a writer for the exam. It was told in the petition that the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has rejected his demand. After this he turned to the Supreme Court. The petitioner has also submitted along with the petition a certificate issued by AIIMS Hospital, confirming his illness and inability to write. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha issued notice to the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and the Uttarakhand government seeking their response and also allowed the petitioner to take the scribe in the examination.
