Domestic vehicle manufacturer Suzuki has now discontinued the cruiser bike Suzuki Intruder sold in the country. Although the company has not issued any official statement in this regard so far. But the bike Suzuki Intruder has been deleted from its official site. It could also be that the company is working on new models like the V-Storm SX 250, which has been replaced by the Suzuki Intruder.

It is being told that the sales of Suzuki Intruder bike in the country are being said to be low, due to which the bike has been discontinued. The company has also indicated to stop manufacturing citing chip shortage and some other things.

The design was the reason for the beating! - The Suzuki Intruder has been introduced by the company in 2017. This cruiser bike has been developed on the Gixxer Plateform. Engine and features are also being provided in this bike like the roadster. At the same time, this cruiser bike is going to compete with Bajaj Avenger. The company has said about this that it did not sell, the main reason for this has been that its design has failed to attract people. In such a situation, it has become difficult for it to survive in the market.

Due to this, the sales were low - some reports say that it has been updated after a year of launch in 2017, it also got the BS6 engine update in 2020. After this, the price of the bike has reached above ₹ 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, its competitors in the market like Bajaj Avenger 220 and others were available at a lower price, the effect of which is being seen on it.
