In an interview, Deepika was asked, "You and Shah Rukh Khan have worked together in more than five films, all of which have been hits. Fans are attributing your success to Shah Rukh Khan's lucky charm." To this, Deepika responded, "Shah Rukh and I... we have a lot of trust in each other. We also hold each other in high regard. Perhaps that's why I am one of the few people in front of whom he is so open. Our relationship is much more than luck."

It's worth mentioning that Deepika Padukone began her career alongside Shah Rukh Khan in her debut film "Om Shanti Om." She shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in this movie. In "Chennai Express," Shah Rukh Khan portrayed two characters, Vikram Rathod and Rahul. Deepika Padukone played the role of Vikram Rathod's wife in the film. She also portrayed Aishwarya Rathod, the mother of Azaad (Shah Rukh Khan's son) in the same movie. Her character's name in "Chennai Express" was Aishwarya Rathod.
