Corona infection is spreading rapidly in India. Apart from India, it has put the life of the whole world at a disadvantage. But India has now overtaken Russia in the list of Corona affected countries. India has reached number three after defeating Russia. After Delhi, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu, new hotspots of Corona are also being created in small states, which is a matter of concern.

In states like Odisha, Punjab, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Goa, Corona has been quite aggressive since the lockdown exemption. Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is also on the verge of becoming the new Corona Hotspot. In these states, the level of infection has doubled in the last one month. In states like Punjab, Goa, and Jharkhand, till now Corona cases were controlled but after the relaxation of many restrictions under Unlock 2.0, there has been a rapid increase in cases of infection in these states. Between 19 June and 2 July in Karnataka, West Bengal and Odisha, the corona positive rate has increased by more than 5%. Whereas from May 19 to June 1, this rate was 1.3% in Karnataka, 2.5% in West Bengal, and 2% in Odisha.

Corona is uncontrollable in India. Everyday Corona cases are increasing rapidly which has severely affected the life of the common man. Now the number of infected corona patients in the country has crossed seven lakh. India has reached the third place in the list of most corona affected countries in the whole world. The only two countries above India are America and Brazil. So far 7,19,665 cases have been reported in India and a total of 20,160 people have died.
