Srinagar: Earthquake tremors felt in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The earthquake has a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale. Giving information, the state Disaster Management Department said that the tremors were felt at 8.15 am. The department says that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 14 kilometers north of Srinagar and seven kilometers south-east of Ganderbal. Let us know that in recent times even in Delhi-NCR, tremors of earthquake are being felt continuously.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi on Monday as well. The epicenter of this earthquake was reported in Gurugram, Haryana. There have been nine earthquake tremors in Delhi in the last two months. The National Center for Seismology has said that, 'Haryana had an earthquake of about 2.1 magnitude on Monday afternoon. Its center was in Gurugram. '

Experts have warned of frequent tremors in Delhi-NCR. Earthquake experts say that Delhi is prone to major earthquakes as seismic activity is continuously occurring in the NCR region. According to IIT Jammu professor Chandan Ghosh, if a major earthquake hits the area, there will be terrible consequences.
