Sharad Kapoor is one of the most popular villains in the entertainment industry. The actor has worked in various hit films like Josh, Dastak, and Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta. He is celebrating his Birthday Today. On his birthday have a look on his journey in Industry.

Sharad was born in Kolkata. He started his film career with Tabadili.  His father was a famous businessman but he wanted to make his career in acting. Sharad struggled in Mumbai but after six months he returned back to Kolkata. He once again came back to Mumbai and played minor roles in TV serials.

 He started his acting career with the film 'Tabdili'. In this film, his opposite was seen with Jackie Shroff. He played the role of a villain in the film 'Josh', for which he was also awarded the Filmfare Best Villain Award. Mahesh Bhatt once saw Sharad Kapoor outside the film studio and offered him the film Dastak. Sushmita Sen made her Bollywood debut with Dastak. After this he signed many films but most of the films were shelved. 

Shah Rukh Khan's film Josh, which came in the year 2000, is considered to be the most important film of the actor's career. He received the Filmfare Best Villain Award for this film. After this he was seen in films like LOC Kargil, Jani Dushman, Yeh Hai Jalwa and Weapon. He has been away from the limelight for a long time.

He was last seen in the 2014 Salman Khan film Jai Ho. Sharad Kapoor is married to Koyal Basu, the granddaughter of Jyoti Basu. Sharad has worked in many films including 'Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta', 'Yeh Hai Jalwa', 'Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein', 'Jaani Dushman', 'Hathiyaar. After working in various film Sharad disappeared from the industry. He is a successful business man. He has two big restaurants. One restaurant is in Mumbai and the other is in Bangalore.
