Actress-producer Sandra Thomas, who was hospitalised a few days ago after being diagnosed with severe case of dengue, is now recuperating. Sandra’s sister Sneha wrote on her social media page that the actress has been moved to a regular room from the ICU.

She wrote, “After spending five critical days in the ICU today, Sandra has been moved to a regular room. She is a lot better, and out of danger now. The past several days have been extremely stressful, given her serious condition. We received a lot of prayers, inquiries and more through social media channels, but we have not been able to respond to each and everyone of you. But, we thank you for your love, concern, prayers and good wishes.”

On June 17, a post on Sandra’s social media handle informed her fans that she was hospitalised due to low blood pressure and heart rate. Many had commented under the post, wishing her a speedy recovery and healthy life.

Sandra, who has produced and acted in many movies, has been away from Mollywood following the birth of her twin daughters. However, she has been active on her YouTube channel, sharing videos featuring her daughters and other family members. Her daughters have even won appreciation from the likes of Mohanlal, for spending time on the lap of nature and inspiring others to do the same.
