The army has started issuing recall letters for army personnel trapped in homes due to the lockdown. However, the soldiers will be quarantined before joining duty. Mahendra Ground and Quarantine Centers have been set up in Sahasradhara on behalf of Army in the district. Quarantine centers have also been set up in other places of the state. After this, after the completion of the medical examination and the quarantine period, they will be transported to their units by special vehicles.

For your information, let us tell you that the leave of army personnel who were on leave before the lockdown was extended. They were told to stay in the house till advance orders. No jawans will be able to directly join duty, so many army personnel are still in their homes after the end of vacation, but now the army is sending these soldiers a recall letter.

However, no jawan will be able to directly join duty. According to military sources, a quarantine center has been built in the Girls and Boys Hostel of the Garhwal Regimental Center located in Dehradun and adjoining areas of Garhwal Rifles and the Garhwal Scout in Sahasradhara. Here the soldiers will be quarantined for a few days. After medical examination, they will be sent to units in special vehicles.
