Ranchi: JMM Congress and  RJD's grand alliance, done before the Jharkhand assembly elections, has won a big victory in the election results. In the 81-member assembly, where the Grand Alliance won 47 seats more than the majority, the ruling BJP had to be satisfied with only 25 seats. Hemant Soren, along with his cabinet colleagues, will take oath on 27 December at Mohababadi ground in Ranchi. While the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Legislature Party is going to meet today, Hemant's cabinet is expected to have 5 ministers each from Congress and JMM and 1 from RJD.

Hemant Soren will go to the hospital today to meet Lalu: According to sources, preparations are being made to invite chief ministers of non-BJP ruled states and big leaders of UPA for the swearing-in ceremony. Preparations have been started for the swearing-in ceremony at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi. Hemant will take the oath of Chief Minister in the open ground here. Complete preparations are being made to make Soren's oath-taking ceremony special. In this connection, he can go to RIM in Ranchi today to meet RJD President Lalu Prasad. Earlier, He thanked Lalu Prasad and Sonia, Rahul Gandhi for the victory.

Before the assembly elections, when the Congress, RJD, and JMM were having final talks on seat sharing, Lalu persuaded Tejashwi Yadav to accept the coalition formula. He wanted to contest more seats of his choice. Tejashwi did not attend a joint press conference of the grand alliance despite being present in Ranchi. After this, Lalu persuaded Tejashwi to hold talks with Hemant and Congress leaders. Lalu persuaded Tejashwi to agree to the 7 seats allotted to the RJD. JMM and Congress contested 43 and 31 seats.
