After the expulsion of Sachin Pilot as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the President of the state, the Congress has started fierce opposition in his native village Vaidpura. The villagers made a statement against the Congress party and the Gandhi family, saying that he has been removed under a well-planned plan. Congress will have to bear a huge loss of this. Apart from Rajasthan, Gurjars of Delhi, Haryana, MP, UP, Jammu and Kashmir and Maharashtra are also strongly opposing the Congress.

Pilot hails from Vaidpura village in Gautam Budh Nagar city of UP. His father and former union minister Rajesh Pilot belongs to a general family. Rajesh Pilot, apart from focusing on education, also used to sell milk to the capital from Vaidpura. After a Pilot job in the Air Force, he started a political career from Congress but, he has made his workplace Rajasthan. He never broke ties with his native village. Sachin Pilot is also following that tradition after his father.

People of Vaidpura also supported Congress in UP due to Rajesh Pilot and now Sachin in the wave of SP, BSP, and Bharatiya Janata Party. Whether the Lok Sabha elections or the Vis elections, Congress has got heavy votes from the village. The effect of Rajesh Pilot's good image was that Surendra Goyal, a resident of the village, was once elected as an MP from Ghaziabad on a Congress ticket which shows the political popularity of Rajesh Pilot.
