Rahu Dev is one of the most renowned villains in Bollywood. The actor has featured in various movies and played various Cruel and Bad roles in his films. However, he is the opposite in real life. He predominantly works in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu films. Rahul is celebrating his 54 th birthday today.

Rahul's wife Rina died on 16 May 2009 after a battle with cancer. The couple had been married for 11 years and have a son, Siddharth. Rahul is dating actress Mugdha Godse. Mugdha has appeared in many Bollywood films. There is a gap of 18 years between the ages of Rahul and Mugdha. Both of them live in a live-in relationship and openly confess their love. Mugdha had confirmed her relationship with Rahul about five years ago. The duo first met in 2013 at the wedding of a common friend. They met each other during the wedding functions of their friends. Rahul also went to meet his guru and after going there he came to know that Mugdha also follows the same guru. This thing worked to strengthen the bond of both of them.

In a recent interview when Rahul asked about  do he feels guilty for dating a girl much younger than him he said, “I think anybody who's had a fantastic first relationship would always feel if this is correct, in this day and age... There is a gap, in terms of years. So I used to feel if this is proper on my part. There were many things. You have a next in line, he was very, very young. And the other side of the family. You'd feel that you would hurt them by moving on with your life."

On the career front, Rahul was meant to make his acting debut as the main villain in Mukul S. Anand's 1997 film Dus but the director's death, while the film was still in production, caused the film to remain incomplete and unreleased.  He then made his debut in the 2000 film Champion where he played a villainous role and for which he won the 2001 Filmfare Best Villain Award. He has since played villains and supporting roles in all of his films.
