Both Ram Gopal Verma and Nagarjuna will share a stage together for their upcoming film project. Earlier also actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and well-known director Ram Gopal Verma work in the film'Shiva'together which was a hit. Since then it's been an over two decades both of them not seen together. But in a Facebook post on Tuesday, RGV wrote that he is excited to join hands with Nagarjuna for a realistic action film. While there have been rumours that the project could be a sequel to Shiva, Varma, however, has rubbished reports and said it’ll be a very different.“I am extremely excited that I am doing a film with Nagarjuna after nearly 25 years but contrary to some uninformed media speculations, this new film is nothing to do with ‘Shiva’, neither in character nor in story content,” Varma posted on his Facebook page.
He went on to add: “It’s a very different but an extremely realistic action film set against a story such as neither me nor Nagarjuna has ever done before.”Varma said he hopes he lives up to the expectations because Nagarjuna gave him his first directorial break with Shiva. The project of their upcoming movie will start early in the next year, At the teaser launch of Raju Gari Gandhi 2, Nagarjuna had said he was blown away by the story RGV had pitched and he was really looking forward to collaborating. Before his film with RGV, Nagarjuna might do a project with Nani, and it will be directed by Sriram Aditya.
