These days almost every film called for Boycott from Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Prabhas’s Adipurush, and now Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan for hurting religious sentiments. Kareena Kapoor’s  Laal Singh Chaddha failed to earn a good amount on Box office after it was called for Boycott.

Kareena Kapoor in a recent interview was asked about the Boycott trend is Laal Singh Chaddha had opened to poor to mixed responses at the box office. Helmed by Advait Chandan it turned out to be a box office dud within days of its release. However, it received a positive response after it was released on OTT. affecting the box-office of earning. Kareena  Kapoor said, "I don't agree with it at all. Agar films nahi hogi toh entertainment kaisa hoga (If films aren't there how will the people be entertained)."

On the career front, Kareena Kapoor has several projects in the pipeline. She will be next seen in director Sujoy Ghosh's thriller which is based on the book The Devotion of Suspect X. The film also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from that, she also has director Hansal Mehta's next untitled film. She also has the upcoming comedy movie The Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film, directed by Rajesh Krishnan, is set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry.
